Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with Specialized Honors in Accounting from York University, which laid the groundwork for a successful career spanning over five years in banking and more than a decade in public accounting. She earned her CPA, CA designation in 2016 and furthered her expertise by completing CPA Canada’s intensive three-year In-Depth Tax specialization program in 2022.
Vanessa began her career at a multinational firm, gaining valuable experience in audit practice. She then transitioned to a mid-sized firm, where she expanded her knowledge in audit, assurance, and taxation, deepening her expertise in private practice.
During her tenure at TG&C, Vanessa has been a trusted advisor to her clients, offering a range of services in accounting, taxation, and business advisory. As a licensed public accountant, she plays a key role in the firm’s audits and assurance practice. Vanessa works closely with owner-managed businesses and real estate professionals, proactively guiding them through their unique business, financial and tax-related challenges.
Beyond her professional life, Vanessa aspires to be an ardent community supporter. As a proud Georgetown resident, Vanessa currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Georgetown Hospital Foundation. Outside of work and community involvement, Vanessa is an enthusiastic golfer, an avid traveler, and treasures quality moments spent with her husband and daughter.
